How much does an uncontested divorce cost?

DoUsPart’s current Montana pricing is a flat fee: $1,600 when there are no minor children, and $1,900 when a parenting plan is included. The fee covers document preparation from attorney-reviewed templates, remote notarization, the court filing fee, and filing by Scheveck & Salminen Law Firm, PLLC.

Only the spouse who hires the service pays. We represent only that spouse. The other spouse does not pay us and may hire a separate attorney if they choose.

There are no hourly rates and no charges for office visits. Most of the work happens through the online questions. You see previews of the documents as you answer, so you can confirm that the language matches your agreement before anything is finalized. That structure is one reason the cost stays lower than a traditional attorney who bills for meetings, calls, and document drafts.

The fee does not include a contested divorce, custom provisions that are not in the templates, or representation for the spouse who is not the client. If the court later requires a different process, additional work would be outside the flat fee.
